Cold ones during the Cold war

So I was watching a documentary earlier today - 1983: The Brink of Apocalypse. About how the Cold War came so very close to becoming World War III due to tension between the USA and the USSR and each refusing to back down their nuclear arms. (Turns out there was a Behind the Scenes Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part one show on another channel, so I switched stations and I'm not sure what happened in the end of 1983... ;P)

But what I was wondering is what would be the repercussions for the Volturi and other vampires if a nuclear war did begin.

Also, would you think Aro would sit back and watch things unfold. Or would he try get in there somehow. Influence certain people, certain aspects. If so, which way do you think he'd go - for or against the bomb?

God has a plan. God gives us free will. Religion is all so vague and confusing. You just really have to find what works for you personally. Pay no attention what the man tells you.

I love the quote by Ned Flanders "I've always done what the bible told me to do, even the stuff that contradicts the other stuff"

And I just thought I'll throw this in too: Father Ted - "Fascist's wear black and go about telling you what to do. Whereas priests....more drink?"

And any deity worth worshipping would not punish anyone for exercise of the aforementioned free will, as long as it hurt no one
And that's why I consider myself a Catholic, yet not. Each to there own I say. I just kinda wish my parents stopped thinking that I have no religion at all. (apparently my mam considers my elder sister more religious. WTF? She knows absolutely nothing!) Just because I'm interested in how other religions work and how they see the world, I'm burning in hell. O_o It's mad!
